My legs were beginning to cramp as I sat motionless in my hiding place. I tried to slow my breathing, but I could hear my heartbeat drumming in my ears. I wondered if it could be heard in the deafening silence. I felt my calf muscle tighten painfully and as a reaction, I shifted my weight. The sound echoed and it was my fatal mistake…I flashed back to 2 years ago when I got my gang inictiation it was a mistake. I could never get back I was peer pressured into it by some friends. Anyways I was sitting there praying the crips wouldnt find me. This was the best hiding space I could find all of a sudden I heard foot steps and a shadow through the closet.Suddenly I moved and made a noise an Asian opened the door and I pulled out my ruger 22cal pistol and pulled the trigger. he collapsed I heard some one running so I quickly jumped out of the closet ran out of the room. There was someone standing there with a gun pointed right at me. My first reaction was to stop, but I had so much adreniline I couldn't I cocked my trigger and shot! I had hit him in the arm. He fell to his knees and begged me not to pull the triger again but I said well life sucks doesn't it I was about to pull the trigger when I heard a loud bang I looked down and my arm was bleeding. I turned around and saw a Latino that said, "Drop it or die.".

music for poetry slam
For the poetry slam I was a music man I thoroughly enjoyed the snacks and drinks I also enjoyed playing the music the hardest part of my job was to get the music fast and to get the songs one after another. what I really enjoyed about my job was got to get funky to the music. and let people sound cool to the music when they walk in. I did not like was saying my poems in front of everyone. This year I thought the poetry slam was good overall cause everyone did there jobs well and the mc's were really good and had good jokes.
